Material Specifications:

Our Teak is primarily knot free and maintains a uniformity in grain and color. Our teak has been properly kiln-dried for low wood moisture content so that the milled parts will hold their shape over time without warping. We use the best available teak on the market, Grade A. Our teak wood contains high density levels of the natural oils and resins that make teak wood such an outstanding material for use in the construction of outdoor furniture.

To return a product based upon the replacement/return guarantee of Highland Taylor, you must call or e-mail our Returns Department and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number within the guarantee return period for the product (described above). Highland Taylor will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days in which must be returned to Highland Taylor. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer should prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product.

Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to Highland Taylor. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, Highland Taylor Return Procedure will be breached and Highland Taylor will reject the entire return or may choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component.

Highland Taylor will not refund to Customer the original shipping charges. In addition, Highland Taylor charges a 30% re-stocking fee on all non-defective returns for refund.

Products being returned for a refund, must be received by Highland Taylor prior to 30 days from the original invoice date. Returns received after the 30 day return period will no longer be eligible for refund.

Shipping charges are non refundable.

Items with Free Shipping:
Returns on items that included 'Free Shipping' will be credited for the item ONLY minus the original shipping charges we incurred to ship the item(s) out to you & restocking fees will still apply. 'Free Shipping' will no longer apply once the item is returned. You will be responsible for the return shipping charges, as well as the shipping charges to send your replacement item.

This item ships via FedEx or UPS (depending on your zip code). If you have a large quantity order, it will ship via FedEx Freight or a standard LTL carrier. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via the email address you provide. Ground shipments usually arrive within 2-5 business days after shipment. Normally, our shipments do NOT require a signature and will be left on your doorstep if you are not available at the time of delivery.
Please inspect the package when it arrives to determine if damage occurred during shipping. If the packaging is crushed, wet or severely damaged, reject the shipment and do not sign for it. The item will be returned to us, which allows us to file a claim. If damage during shipping is discovered after delivery, contact customer service immediately so a claim can be filed. Please retain all damaged items and shipping materials, as the carrier may need to perform an inspection.
Please note that UPS and FedEx shipments cannot be delivered to PO boxes.

Highland Taylor offers a 5 year basic warranty on this product to the original purchaser from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. During this period Highland Taylor will repair or replace, at our discretion, the defective component.

This warranty does not apply to improperly installed, handled, abused, damaged by user error, nor to any unit which has been repaired or altered by unauthorized repair companies. Under no circumstances will the buyer be entitled to consequential or incidental damages. This limited 5 year basic warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state where you live. Batteries and plastic housings are not covered by warranty.

Assembly:

This particular teak furniture piece will be delivered fully assembled and ready to use! We elect to bring in some teak pieces from Indonesia fully-assembled to maximize the quality construction and assembly that is performed at our factory. This is determined by our full-time employee located in Indonesia that performs quality assurance checks at our plant to ensure quality wood selection and assembly.
